To run on new theme, at present you'll have to manually request for it because the Host Gator team is still checking for bugs and issues.

However thus far, I find the new theme working perfectly for me. And it's really very much easier to work with the new theme. I'd suggest you go for the new theme, simply email their support team and in less than 24hr you'll get to use exactly what I'm using.
